I asked Jeff if he wanted to meet us tonight or in the morning. He said that since their autograph session had gotten cancelled he would meet us tonight. Katie was looking at me and motioning me to let her talk to Jeff. I jokingly shook my head no and then asked Jeff if he would like to talk to Katie. He said he would love to, so I asked him if he could hold on for a minute. He said sure no problem. I put my hand over the phone and told Katie that I wanted to surprise Jeff while she was on the phone with him. She asked me what I was going to do and I told her that while she was talking to him I was going to knock on the connecting door to his and Matt’s room. 

This was going to freak him out. Just think someone knocking on the door inside your room instead of the one in the hall. I am going to love to scare Jeff since he likes to play jokes I thought I would get a jump-start on it. I handed the phone to Katie who immediately started to giggle. I went over to the door and gently tapped on it. I got no response from the other side, Katie said that Jeff did not act like he had heard it. So then I started banging on the door and with this Katie laughed out loud. Jeff still did not try to open the door so I banged again this time I banged so hard I thought I was going to break down the door. I heard footsteps coming toward the door so I then put my hand on the doorknob so as Jeff could not get it open. He started using curse words and trying to push the door open, so that is when I opened the door and he fell onto the floor. You should have seen the look on his face when he looked up and saw he standing there laughing at him. Katie had went over by the window because even though she had talked to him on the phone she was still nervous about seeing him in person. He immediately got up and tackled me to the bed and started tickling me. I told him to stop it or I would not let him go out with Katie. He stopped tickling me and helped me up. When he did I introduced him to Katie. And just like Matt had done with me, Jeff fell in love with Katie at first sight.

In Katie and I’s hotel room....................................................

Katie and Jeff sat on Katie’s bed and were kind of just looking at each other not knowing what to say. Weird I tell you, they talked up a storm on the phone but now in person neither one opened their mouths. Let me tell you that was very unusual since both never shut up otherwise. I tried to get the conversation going by telling Jeff that Katie is his biggest fan. Katie just shot me a look like, you are soooooooooo dead. Jeff looked at me and Katie and then he said to Katie, "You can not possible be my biggest fan, I am." With that comment we all laughed and then the mood lightened up considerable. We sat there and talked for what seems like forever although it was only 15 minutes. While they were still talking I got up and went over to the window and walked out onto the balcony. I stood there for a few minutes looking around the parking lot for Matt but no sign of him anywhere. I was starting to get worried even though I did not know why. Maybe I did really love him, maybe this is why I am standing here so worried and waiting for him to come back. I had begun crying but did not realize it until I felt a hand on my shoulder I turned around and there standing behind me was Matt.

I saw the happiness on his face turn into concern when he saw me crying. Before he could say anything I just hugged him and did not let go. He asked me what was wrong but I could not say anything I just squeezed him tighter. After about three minutes of us hugging I finally let go of him, we looked each other in the eye and then Matt said, "Jess, why are you crying?" He was crying right along with me. I took his hand and we went over to sit down on the bench that was on the balcony. I told him that I was worried about him because he had not come back yet from his walk.
